Robert Norton's fine wood working

Some may be thinking.. why is this guy taking pictures of this guy and his shop?  Well to answer that question. I was hired by the owner of the piece of furniture that Mr. Norton is building to document the progress and photograph the small details that are important to the project. The idea behind this is to put the images in Fine Woodworking Magazine and publicize the hiden talent that Mr. Norton has.

Robert Norton is a carpenter in Cleveland, Mississippi. He mainly does restoration work on old furniture. He also does custom woodworking like the table you will see below. The photograph of the photograph is what he is building. The one in the photograph is one that he had built several years ago and wants to recreate it to show off its uniqueness in the magazine. Mr. Norton told me that day, " I have every issue of Fine Woodworking Magazine that has ever been published and I have yet to see anything like the piece that I am working on."  Here are some images that give you a peak into Mr. Norton's work shop. There will be more to come as the project continues.
