:::Ella and James:::

      Last Thursday I went to jackson to photograph these two you see below. I always love when I get the chance to photograph children because they are really just free spirits.  You just never know what they are going to do or say next especially when a camera is in front of them.  Even though the photographs I took came out well in my opinion these two were probably the most difficult to photograph together. The last thing on their minds was "hey lets pose in front of the camera and makes this guy's life easy." It was more like "OMG I'm sick of this guy." or  "I really would like some more skittles, mom. And No I don't want to have to do anything to get it." or "Man, that swing looks really cool, I wanna go over there!!" - that was from james.  Ella was more like "I'll say cheese all day long but Im not about to look at your camera like you want me to." haha. Despite some of the distractions we managed to have a lot of fun and get some good photographs. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

My King

I'll Speak honors of my King.
His form divinely fair
None of the sons of mortal race
May with the Lord compare.

Sweet is thy speech, and heavenly grace
Upon thy lips is shed;
Thy God with Blessings Infinite
Has crowned thy sacred head

Gird on thy sword, victorious Prince,
Ride with majestic sway;
Thy terror shall strike through thy foes
And make the world obey.

Thy Throne, O God, for ever stands;
Thy word of grace shall prove
A peaceful sceptre in thy hands
To rule thy saints by love.

Justice and truth attend thee still,
But mercy is thy choice;
And God, thy God, thy soul shall fill
With most peculiar joys.

:::The Fleming Family:::

         This past weekend I went to Tennessee near Memphis to photograph two families. One family I didnt know personally and this one which is my cousins family.  It was nice to get out of town to do some photo shoots away from home. All weekend I played with these two you see below.. We had a massive Nerf gun battle across the house and made a terrible mess of the place and we also played Wii.... everything.. haha. Needless to say we had a great time. I really enjoyed photographing this beautiful family. They really made my job quite easy. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.. Enjoy.

::Heather and Arthur::

         It was very fun to get to photograph this couple again since their wedding, May 9, 2009.  Heather is pretty much the reason I am a wedding photographer to begin with. She asked me to photographer her wedding unexpectedly one day. I had to explain that I had never photographed a wedding before but everything seemed to go pretty well. I was expecting to either hate wedding photography or love it. After that wedding I knew wedding documentation was what I really wanted to do.  So I  attribute that opportunity to this couple and I am so thankful that I was blessed with the chance to document this awesome couple's wedding. It was really nice getting to catch up with them after we did this shoot for their christmas card. Here are a few favorites I hope you enjoy!
