The other weekend I went to Jackson for a friends birthday and after some good sushi and a couple beers we ended up at Fenians Irish Pub. I have only been to Fenians a couple times before but I'd have to say it's one of my favorite places to go. Once I move to jackson I'll definitely be visiting more often. It's just a really cool environment and a fun place to chill with friends. They are aways having little local folk/string bands play there. This past visit there was a band playing called Sound Wagon and they were amazing. They are just a little string band that plays folk and old-time barn dance music. The type music that just compels you to get up and dance and thats what happened that night. It was a lot of fun and If you live in the jackson area and haven't been to Fenians I would definitely recommend going. Here are a few pictures I got of the Sound Wagon that night.

:::Emily + Jonathan:::
The great thing about my job as I have probably mentioned this before is that during these portrait sessions or engagement sessions and weddings I get to know who I am working with pretty well. Thats why I include an engagement session in my wedding package so that I can get to know these people prior to the wedding day, but the reason I enjoy it so much is because when it comes to couples, everyone has a different story and I like to hear them. Everyone has or had their list of problems while trying to chase down the girl they love. Everyone has a different first date experience. Some beak up and then end up working it out. Some might just have the perfect relationship where nothing goes wrong... ever... that would boring. Whatever the situation is, I get to hear about it somewhere down the road whether it's during the engagement session, (which was the case for this couple) or maybe at the rehearsal dinner. Hearing these stories and then getting the chance to document a couple in a way that tells their story, or tells something about these people is what I really enjoy about what I do.
